Magnolia with Tawa Needle - 60mm Diameter. Sphere textured with basket weave branding and painted with acrylic paint, a NZ Tawa needle and black thread. 

Flowering Gum Burl - 420mm Diameter, 90mm High. A decorative bowl with three carved feet on the base.

Boxed Alder Burl, African Blackwood - 62mm Diameter at base, 60mm High. The Blackwood contrasts nicely with the figured burl, special care was taken to ensure the grain lined up. 

Silver Birch Burl.  A small heavily figured platter with three carved feet. 215mm Diameter, 30mm High

Walnut Box - 52mm Diameter at base, 45mm High. A lovely small trinket box. This piece of Walnut was recovered from a badly split bowl blank destined for the fire.

Curly Koa Bowl - 210mm Diameter, 125mm High. This piece of Koa was gifted to me from a friend who lives in Maui, Hawaii.

Oak bowl carved, textured and painted with rust paint. Inspiration for this piece was drawn from the iron clad ships of the American Civil War.  135mm Diameter, 105mm High

Chestnut Burl - 230mm Diameter, 130mm High. A natural edged burl with a round bottom. 3mm thick turned green and left to distort leaving it with a beautiful leathery texture.

Silver Birch Burl - 155mm Diameter, 100mm High. A natural edged burl with a round bottom. 3mm thick turned green and left to distort leaving it with a beautiful leathery texture.

Spalted Beech Box - 60mm Diameter at base, 55mm High. Keepsake / Jewellery box.
