These tubes are made from Oak and have been carved and coloured before adding three coats of lacquer.

They are 260mm x 60mm, 250mm x 60mm and 160mm x 60mm

Swamp Kauri Barometer using the beauty of the natural artistic shape and colour of the wood.  600mm wide by 100mm deep by 230mm high.  

Evoking earth’s movement. Flowing volcanic curves. Beneath thin crust, magma voids wait to erupt forth. Carved feet symbolise tectonic movement. Timber: Apricot. Approximately: 175 mm diameter x 160 mm height.

Jacaranda natural-edge bowl with three black (pyrography) feet. Widest diameter is 200mm by 100mm height. Natural edge is 20-50mm wide and deeply undercut to the bowl wall (3mm thickness).

Swamp Kauri clock using the beauty of the natural artistic shape and colour of the wood.  300mm wide by 70mm deep by 170mm high.

Five tubes turned from wet Banksia and left to dry and move as nature allows.

They are all different heights ranging from 230mm to 300mm and all 55mm diameter.

This is a spalted oak natural edged fruit bowl on three hand crafted feet. Its chunky look and turquoise highlights on the carved base, disguise the critter hostels.  D 250mm

A natural-edge bowl of European beech. 190 mm diameter.  Finish is lacquer.

Totara Bowl made from an old Totara fence post leaving original surface as rim.  165mm W x 110mm H.

Plum with coloured resin infill, Tung oil finish. Overall dia 270mm, dish dia 140mm, height 60mm

Chestnut Burl - 230mm Diameter, 130mm High. A natural edged burl with a round bottom. 3mm thick turned green and left to distort leaving it with a beautiful leathery texture.

Silver Birch Burl - 155mm Diameter, 100mm High. A natural edged burl with a round bottom. 3mm thick turned green and left to distort leaving it with a beautiful leathery texture.
