Is best known for his turned and carved sculptural bowls as well as wearable wooden hats but has always found turning natural edge pieces to be his greatest desire in woodturning.

Is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Turners of London and one of the leaders of the artistic woodturning movement in the UK.  Each of her pieces are unique, each tell their own story, have their own heart and all are created with passion.

Turning can be used to make pieces of art combining ideas from past and present, bearing in mind they must compliment each other and maintain a balance. To design and create in timber poses many challenges both in structure and integrity.

President, National Association of Woodworkers, NZ, particularly enjoys the woodturning journey. His mantra is "Form, Form, Form and Form!". Reality is that he has spent more time on both the North Shore Woodturning Guild Committee and also the NAW Committee than turning wood.
