Inspired by a wood fired oven. The texture suggests the rendered look with a shimmer of gold. The piece stands 140mm high. The spoon has a 40mm bowl.

Red beech burl bowl with copper void detailing. Finished with Aussie oil to give the piece a lower sheen. Overall height is 160mm.   

A traditional shaped jewelry box turned from red beech burl with copper accents. The box is finished with the Beall system. The dimensions are 120mm diameter by 60mm high.  

Thin turned Sycamore, embellished crescent shaped pyrography. Each marking comprises 12-18 small dots with give the piece its texture. The pot stands 90mm tall. It is finished with Aussie Oil.  Credit is given to Neil Joynt for the pyrographic pattern used on this piece. 

Asian styled pet cremation urn. The body is turned from Macrocarpa with raku pattern pyrography crowned with bamboo cross piece and topped with a taonga of greenstone. Height is 150mm.

Turned from macrocarpa and embellished with pyrographic detail and lacquer finished. The box stands 160mm high and draws up from a base of 60mm to 90mm in width. Design inspired by Bill Clark and acknowledges his work. 

Turned from lightly spalted sycamore, it is 300mm in diameter and stands 50mm from the base. Painted with iridescent paint with a centre finished with Aussie oil.

Inspired by the texture of a sea urchin. It stands 110mm high. The wood is magnolia with a lime wash finish . The handle has been Beall buffed.  

A traditional ginger jar shaped, pet cremation urn. Made from Macrocarpa with pyrographic detail. The box stands 150mm high and is 120mm in diameter at its widest point.  Concept and design inspired by Bill Clark and acknowledges his work. 

A trifoot Asian style pet ashes keepsake urn. Turned from Macrocarpa with basket weave style pyrography and apple burl “Torii gate” cross piece.  The box stands 130mm x 120mm wide.  Concept and design inspired by Troy Grimwood and exhibited with his permission.
