This is a rolled edge bowl made from Poplar, with a pyrography embellishment. The imagery was inspired by the English tale of 'The Lambton Worm'. The Dragon and Fish have been subtly coloured with Gilders metallic paste and it is finished with the Beall Buffing System.  WxH 250mm x 80mm

A bowl turned from native Matai, with Pyrography and oil pencil embellishment. I was inspired by a warm autumnal theme. HxW 80mm x 190mm 

A spalted Tawa goblet, with Pyrography embellishment/enhancement of the natural spalting. The flowers have been coloured with oil pencil and it has a spray lacquer finish. HxW 180mm x 100mm

This is an ornamental/installation art piece. These tubes are turned from wet Pin Oak. Inspired by the deep sea volcanic vents and creatures who live in the depths. The tubes vary in size, with the tallest being 300mm and an average width of 45mm.
